The John DiFede Reception Centre has held many different types of functions for various occasions. There are two main rooms available and the Centre has been host to the likes of organisations such as the SA Neighbourhood Watch Group, the International Police Ball, numerous sporting clubs and political functions (from both sides), schools, churches, social clubs and of course over a thousand weddings, and all have contributed to the amassed know-how and expertise of the staff.
One of the reasons for the success of the centre lies in its basic design. For example, there is an upstairs pre-dinner area with a balcony and bar service where early arrivals can wait comfortably for their friends to join them.
The office has recently been enlarged to incorporate a display area where table arrangements, cake styles and room decoration can all be viewed from a photographic display designed to assist the client in refining details of their own function. This is especially helpful in the arrangement of wedding receptions where there are just so many things to be taken into consideration.
